The Office of Student Services consolidates the functions of the Registrar’s, Financial Aid, Student Employment, Student Accounts, Credit and Collections offices into one office in order to offer a one-stop service for our students.

Moore Tech Student Services

  • Academic advising – provides students academic services related to course selection, selecting a major, study skills, and referrals to tutoring and academic success skills
  • Academic success skills/tutoring – provides tutoring and academic interventions with academic subjects
  • Assessment – focused on program evaluation, and research implementation in student services and other academic departments for both accreditation and continual improvement of student services and academic departments
  • Admissions – answering student and family questions, monitoring the submission of applications, reviewing applications and making admissions decision recommendations in collaboration with faculty.
  • Recruitment- provide potential students with information about Moore Tech during school visits and college fairs
  • Financial aid – assists students in college affordability including the difference between grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans; processing federal and state aid, payment plans; minimizing debt and understanding how student loans cannot be discharged.
  • Registrar – processes registration requests, schedules classes and maintains class list, enforce the rules for entering or leaving classes, and keeps a permanent record of grades and marks. 
  • Orientation – provides support and programming for first-term students and transfer students.

Registration Services

The Registrar’s Office supports students throughout their educational journey by managing registration, academic records, and course scheduling. The office works closely with students to ensure accurate enrollment and successful progression through their chosen program.

  • Add/drop and withdrawal processing

Students are encouraged to meet with Student Services if they have questions regarding enrollment, course requirements, or academic records.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid and Funding Assistance

Moore Tech is committed to helping students understand and access financial resources that support their educational goals. The Financial Aid Office assists students with available funding opportunities and helps them navigate the financial aid process.

Moore Tech encourages students to apply for financial assistance as early as possible and to explore all available funding opportunities. Financial Aid staff are available to answer questions regarding grants, scholarships, and payment options. Information regarding Pell Grants and financial aid eligibility is available through the admissions process.

Employment Placement

Employment Placement and Career Support

Moore Tech’s Employment Placement Services help students and graduates prepare for successful careers in technical and skilled trades industries. The department works with employers and industry partners to connect qualified graduates with employment opportunities.

Moore Tech maintains relationships with employers throughout the region and strives to connect students with career opportunities that align with their training and professional goals. The Director of Workforce Development works with businesses, students, and alumni to support employment placement efforts.
